I've been *very* careful about maintaining compatibility.
It don't like to spread doubt on the FreeDink engine
I am sorry if this is how my comments sounded. AFAIK there are many more bugs specific to regular Dink, which have been fixed in Freedink, than the other way around. I'm very happy with Freedink.
What I meant to say, is that I didn't test this on regular Dink, because I don't have Windows. So if I trace a bug to the Engine, all I know for sure is that it is in Freedink. I usually expect it to be in regular Dink as well.
However, this case is a bit special. It has trouble loading an image. AFAIK the graphical system is entirely replaced in Freedink. So while this could still be present in regular Dink, I'm not as sure about it as usual.
But you are right, I should be more careful with my words. I am convinced Freedink is a lot better than regular Dink; I'll try to make it sound like that in the future. Thanks for telling me.
