it's not really an Indian definition of child abuse...
geesh what do u have to do to maim them bad enough for you to call it child abuse there - remove limbs! I would never let those kids go back to those people - parents are supposed to protect their kids, not do that stuff. Thats not just physical, it messes with their heads too - it will change who the child will grow to be - mental abuse imho is way worse than physical. For those that dont know - a childs brain develops differently if they are being abused or seeing abuse happen to others, so remove them from harms way and put the parents in jail for a very long time. Poor defenceless kids grrr mutter mutter RANT RANT .....
