Well, we evolved from water apes, if you believe in evolution, which I do.
Water apes didn't have as much hair so they could swim faster.
Water apes had webbed hands and feet, so they could swim faster.
Normal apes can't swim, so it wasn't them who we evolved from.
Water apes were almost always in water, so slowly evolving we started to live near water.
Oh, but I could believe an alien life form helped us out.
I just have to be patient and wait for the results of the star child skull analysis.
