Nope, PC is superior to all consoles, handheld or not. Sure some games may exist for consoles too, but they're way more expensive and locked to a console.
So first, PC's aren't meant for gaming. Consoles are meant for gaming. PC's are meant for creating games, browsing Internet. Imho, PC's are meant for everything else but gaming. Unfortunately, some great games are only playable to play on PC.
Steam allows you to play the game on any computer around the world.
Why would you need to? If you're capable of going to someplace else than your home, what's the point of playing the same games there that you play at your place?
and you can't avoid the fact that the world is computeralized (lol) nowadays and no living soul haven't used or seen a computer since the 90's. Everyone plays games all the time, everywhere! Change your view on addicts cuz everyone got a computer with them nowadays in the form of a smart/cell phone with games!
Wow, you really are a game addict, aren't ya? Basically what you said there is all jibba-jabba. Nowhere NEAR to all the people on this planet have computers nor video games. Many people have, true, but I have even friends who never play or don't have a PC. And I bet most of people over 75 have never even seen a computer or a video game console, let alone play them all the time.
Also, funny. Now that you mentioned cell phone games, those were the first games I thought were completely unnecessary. I mean, who needs games 24/7?! If you do, you are a badly ill person.
