It was 8. I didn't like that one as much because the story seemed choppy. I kept waiting for it to get going, and then I was at the end. The Guardian Forces also annoyed me at first, but they ended up being useful, because you could do things like assign death to your sword and kill enemies with one hit, if you were at a high enough level.
