FreeDink is under the GNU GPL license, which means that as a developer:
- you can make a modified version under the same license (the nds port)
- you must provide the source code for your new version, and instructions on how to recompile it
- you can charge for the application, though people may make gratis copies and share it
So, if you charge $4 for the port:
- your users may share it and re-post it on the Dink Network for free
- your users must be able to get the source code and recompile it if needed, e.g. to make further improvements
