If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
When I was 13, I told my best friend that I wanted to be a virgin when I got married. She asked me why, and to this day I can't answer it. I just think it's a nice idea.
Now that I'm not quite so naive (the internet has a way of taking innocence...) I don't think it's a big deal. I don't think that you should neccessarily have to give yourself to someone you truly love. If both partners are consenting and just looking to have fun together, like sex among friends, then I don't see why they shouldn't. Of course, as long as they use protection... babies are gross... Personally, I don't think losing your virginity is a big deal. I think your first kiss is infinitely more meaningful, but that's just me.
As to why society makes a big deal of it: religion. Nearly every aspect of our society is influenced by religion, namely Christianity, which teaches that there is a black and white, a right and wrong, and losing your virginity before marriage is WRONG.
Now, another question. What do you all think of homosexual virginity? (This is not meant to be gross or anything, and it's not meant to offend anybody, it's honest.) Think Chasing Amy. If two guys make love to each other, are they still virgins? Two girls? If they are, why?
