Hrm... Friends Beyond 2 has a very funky install program. You have to specify the directory for which to install the D-Mod (i.e. C:\Program Files\Dink Smallwood\FB2\ ) and not just the Dink directory.

If you already did that, I can't think of any other things that might be wrong :-/
