Reply to recording in [Win]DinkEdit

I was trying to get started with a series of video tutorials (seeing how RobJ promised this but hasn't gotten around to them yet 
) But I'm having trouble recording from both editors.
WinDinkEdit+ flashes white when I try to record it, and DinkEdit.. that's just a nightmare.. fudged up colors recorded in wrong screen size...
Anyone know of a video editor that will properly record in the editor (preferably WinDinkEdit)?
(Btw I'm a noob when it comes to recording software, try not to throw any big terms at me )
