Dink has more bad stuff than most games, because it has too much copied from Zelda. But all the stuff and humour made by RTSoft made it pretty good.
And no, Dink is definitely not the best game around, but it's the D-Mods and creating them that keeps me interested in it.
EDIT: And also, I have never lost track of time playing Dink either.
