Hi folks. I have to inform you, that I had a virus in my computer, and I had to clean it. Because of this I lost every D-Mod that I had, AND that I have been making. These include: Middle Night 2, Fall of Darkness, North's Pilgrim, and LordDan's Ghallar & Amarah (he was making the last boss )

We both have agreed that we gonna take AT LEAST a little break before we start to build them again (if we start building them again) or start new ones.

I am probably gonna leave other D-Mods than Middle Night 2, and The North's Pilgrim. All I know from the future is that The North's Pilgrim's story will be changed, and it will take many years to complete it.

This is ridiculous.

Sorry to hear that, dude. The same happened to me several years ago after I requested for my dmods to be taken down with the intention of re-releasing them later.

At least it's a good opportunity to realize the importance of making backups on a regular basis.

You can still recover your old files. Search for Recover My Files on Google. Even though you format, they information is still there.

That's a shame, you must be so angry Not surprised you're taking a break!

Glennglenn that thing can recover from a formatted drive? Impressive. Recuva is also pretty good, but probably not from a complete wipe.

I'm sorry to hear that... It's always nasty if data is lost. No matter how many back-ups you have there is always something on that hard disk you don't like to lose.

And to bad those DMODs were lost too, you were probably the most prolific author of the last two years, so it's obviously sad if so many of these potential DMODs were lost.

From now on I probably start making stuff with this new cool thing I found. It's called Atmosphir. You should probably download it and find stuff I've made. (My name's Skull over there too).

And I don't know about D-Modding anymore. I think it's my spirit that won't let me go completely of D-Modding. But as I said, I'm gonna leave D-Modding atleast for a while now, and visit here every now and then.

And I won't be letting LordDan to my computer anymore, because he's the one that downloaded the virus to my computer. He didn't mean to, but he still should get his own PC. The only thing I can make sure now, is that this doesn't happen to me again.

I'm sorry to hear that Skull. I can share your pain since I made that mistake too, back in 2006. It's really, really annoying.

Anyway, I don't think you should quit D-Modding now. Your recent D-Mod was quite pleasant and I can't see how your further D-Mods could be any different!

I understand how you feel... I understand your wanting to take a break, but I do hope you continue your work on Middle Night 2 once you've had some time to rest from the wipe (sorry if I seem selfish, but... Y'know? I am.).

Yeah Dink is stronger than anything. Last year I was still playing World of Warcraft and I probably don't have to mention that it's an addictive game. I stopped playing World of Warcraft in January, there's no stronger addiction than Dink

That'd be the same time I was heroically bringing genocide to the poor ol' giant rat population of run-escape, And the Wild boar population of Tal-is-man online - *assuming David Attenborough voice* as you can clearly see, I'm back again.

Tough break on the computer virus sh** mate, that sucks beyond comparison to my own problem recently. Hope you find the heart to start working on the Dmods again.

Oddly, Funions are "onion flavored" (I think they're supposed to be), but they don't taste anything like onions to me. They're actually tasty!
