Is there a simple way to remove one status from the status bar, in this case magic?

The simplest way that I know of is replacing the graphics that represent the amount of magic with blank images.

Don't take my word for it though, chances are 108 introduced some command like remove_one_status(&magic); and I just don't know about it.
