Hidden Music
For all your Windows XP junkies, did you now there's some music in your 'Windows' directory? When you install XP, if you have sound and stuff that works, then you hear music playing, which is really quite addictive music. Anyway, go to the directory C:\Windows\sytem32\oobe\images\title.wma
It's some really nice music, however, most people have sound they set up after they install XP, so they don't ever hear it, but it's really quite catchy.

I never heard it, but found it by coincidence too. It's really nice. The MIDIs in WINDOWS\Media are pretty nice, too.
Hey, didn't know about them! They are pretty cool! I might be able to use some in a D-Mod...
If I ever get one complete...

Please don't, if I'm going to hear one of those Windows MIDIs used in a game I'll fall off my chair.

Yep,they are cool.Lol,Windows was a fan of Dink Smallwood
Well, since the topic is about hidden music, several years ago i learned that most(or maybe all) PC games can play your music while you play. The game has its own music files but if they are mp3 than no problem.Just add any song you like(as long it's the same type as the game's music files) into the game's music folder(lol you may already know this).
Example:I played Age of Wonders 2 like this

Lol, soulmn is right about that.
Freelancer has small musicfiles, but several, in it's directory folder that you can change by simply renaming whatever music you want and replacing the original track with the music you want to hear in that particular area.
I can remember a few others as well, bu not their titles.

heh, I did that with Age of Wonders 2, also. The games were just too long to listen to the same music over and over.
Monopoly Tycoon, Morrowind, Duke Nukem 3D (MIDIs), any other game storing external MIDIs... etcetera. Nothing special, but I never switched out the music.
