I've equip. the water magic scroll but have no idea how to use it. I thought that i needed to type in the
letters written on the scroll but i cann't read some
of them. How do you activate the scroll.

Probably you need to take the scroll to some magician who will teach it to you.

original dink, i assume? press "enter" in game to open menu. move your cursor over the scroll and press "Ctrl" to equip it. press "enter" again to return to the game. Now, facing the soon-to-be-drenched victim, press "left shift". BAM! magic happens!
