Hello.

Do you remember me? I have not posted in quite a while, as I have been very busy with other things. I have decided to cancel my first planned d-mod "Dark Moon Rising" sa I think I was a little ambitious with it, and for a starting d-mod need something more simple.

Any suggestions on how I should get going?

Take a good look at a few smaller d-mods, like quest for milli vanilli (high underrated little gem) or the dink smallwood source code and just see what you want to do..

Make it funny and bugfree, and it'll be fine

Write down a little plot synthesis, that should get you started and your ideas rolling, if you're imaginitive, of course.

I'm will release my first one : Chapter Zero this month (or a couple of days later), so take a look at it and feel free to use everything what's in it!!!

You don't have to be tooooo ambitious but at least you can try to beat me with your first one !!!

Aw, you don't necessarily have to cancel it. Just postpone it until you've had enough experience to do well with it.

Thank you all for the advice.

I hope to get a small romp out fairly quickly, and then build my skills up to make a quest.

I suppose I could just postpone my d-mod that I was making, but I doubt I will ever be good enough to satisfy myself with it.

After playing "Once in a Lifetime", I think that is a good way to make a first d-mod, as it is short, simple but with some well executed touches.

SabreTrout has given me a few ideas, but they sound a bit complicated!
