Which size is correct?

When I right-click on BEAST.C

I see 2 different sizes

Size: 3,97KB

Size on disc: 15,64KB

which on is correct?

The first one is the real size of the file, while the second one is.... err... windows.

"Milk"

* 15,64 KB is the size used in disk. We will call

this "Bottle"

Every bottle can contain

only one liquid, no matter it is full

or middle.

Same is for files. They are stored in "clusters"

and the size of these varies depending on the medium.

UNLESS you use any version of the NTFS file system with compression turned on. Then the "size on disk" is how much space the file uses and "size" is the actual file size. That is not the case here thou, cause then the actual size is smaller than the size, but anyway, just a little comment from my side... ah yesch.
