You gotta buy that. It's not cheap either. So if you're flat broke, (like me), and you wanna create awesome 3D graphics, I recommend downloading Blender 3D. It's completely free and open-source. Just go to blender.org to download it.

But for that to run and work fine, you need a really powerful computer. Something I don't have. So, find Paint Shop Pro. You gotta buy that though which sucks. So maybe you could look for a trial version somewhere on the net.

If that fails, then try this thing called Art Of Illusion. It's not as good as Blender, but it can create 3D graphics too.

Or maybe you wanna use a simple program designed for linux called The Gimp. It's pretty good. I forgot the website though.

Pixel art: GraphicsGale
Vector art: Inkscape
3D modeling: Blender (difficult, but useful for Dink sprites and such!)

Non-free and/or expensive tools
Photoshop-like tool: Photoshop
Pixel art: I have no idea.

I like blender the best it's hard to master but once you get the hang of it it's great though as DD95 said before you need a powerful machine to play it lucky i spent about $500 upgrading my computer got a new graphics card, new processor and a new motherboard and chip best day of my life but back to subject. i need something easy... besides paint

Mmmm, pizza.
I'll suggest Anim8or as another 3D modeling program. It's not as extensive as blender, but it gets things done.
