Hey guys,
I am stuck on one spot in SoB- I'm trying to get the herb boots but can't find a safe path through the water. The only place I can find where I can get into the water is one screen south of the Church of Righteousness (in the south-west corner of the inlet), but once I get to the edge of the inlet I fall into the water and drown- no matter where I try to cross! I must have done this at least thirty times now and I really just want to know what I'm doing wrong.

Okay, so yeah- ignore the above request. It took me another half an hour to figure out that I was trying in entirely the wrong place.
Yes, yes, I know. I haven't had my required amount of ceffeine, okay?!

Asking the same question a number of times doesn't really help anything. There aren't too many people constantly posting so it might take a while for someone to post a sensible answer.

Sorry I can't help you, I haven't played SOB untill about the start of the world you're in. (I'm getting amnesia, I can't even recall the number of this world )

go2 church of indulgence 1 screen left, 2screens up theres a beach go there but 1st u mustve talked to the guy abt boots... the path is a secret 1- theres no 'real' path through the beach
and in the screen where thers the herb boots ther is a chest and quicksand so save game bfor doing this
