Re: Dmod Stuff
So, I played through 'Emerald Hunt' yesterday and it was pretty good although it was only a demo.I was thinking that if people don't come back and finish their demo game after a couple years then it should be up for grabs.
Anyways, I have been working on a dmod that would fit the upcoming contest but I don't know that I could have it done by the next 6 weeks.Still, if nobody else enters than I would definately win.*muahahaha* Oh, unless that darn Mr.None does.*grr* If I only knew where he lived....

Well, you are probably aware of copyright laws, and that specific DMOD's story and scripts and whatnot are in all ways reserved to me, unless I've stated something else, which I don't remember having. This too would apply to all other abandoned DMODs, and so you can't really 'legally' do what you're suggesting. It's not like redink1 can just say "Oh, this DMOD has not been worked on in such and such long time, so now you're all free to jump at it like horny dogs."
However, if somebody asked me if they could take it over and complete it, depending on who it was, I would be inclined to say yes... however, I would like to complete it sometime myself. Would probably happen when Dink becomes Linux-compatible, which probably won't happen until I go learn C++ and take on the task myself, seeing as you're all Windowsers.. well, except for perhaps Merlin.

I like to tinker around with Linux. In fact one day (when I've learnt C++) I intend to make an enchanced version of Dink and make it Linux and Mac compatible (though Boot Camp does that for the hardware).
