Magic dont work, weapons dont help, rowboat is too slow to get past the beasties. My only thought is i needed to have higher agility and have bought a fancier throwing weapon, or go back and get a harpoon or cannon. Can someone give me an idea of what i need to do, thanks in a advance.

Defense and the bottles of elixers will help. Other than that, row like hell.

I just replyed that part to see what stradegy you could use, and I have 20 defense, I jumped in the boat and wham, 10. (OK, thats fine i thought) then I got out and I still had 10 defense...WTH?

Really, it doesn't happen to me... (the defense part... as for the suck part, well... best leave those sorts of comments alone). This is in the red underground river, right?

Have you got the latest patch? I have just replayed the underground river bit, and can leave/board boat in both places underground with defense being lowered and raised as it should be... to 10 on boarding the boat and back to where it was on leaving. So it must be some sort of glitch, or you don't have the latest patch.

where do you get off the boat??????? i just keep roaming around till eventually i get killed!
