How much luck do you need to get the whirlpool to appear. I have Honour 19 but only Luck 6. Is this enough because I can't seem to get the whirlpool to appear. Any easier way to get luck up.

It seems Luck 12 at least it'necessary to pass through the whirlpool.

You can buy 4 potions from the goblin: choose luck. (You can find honour more easily by killing sea monsters: they often give honour potions).

I think it's 12 to make it appear, but you are very likely to die unless you have 14 or 15.

So what you are saying is I have to get luck by leveling up because I already bought from the goblin.

Thats alot of leveling up You should have more luck than that if you found all the hidden potions. Do you have a save game to go back to? Even if you have to go way back it'd be easier than leveling up that many times.

There is one luck potion you can find... the rest will have to be levelling up. I'd recommend going back to one tree island. Talking to the tree and when it says you're honourable enough... go back to the brothel and visit Morganne as much as you can... various things can be increased there... it is random, but I think Luck is one of them as well as experience points. There are many potions around and I think some of them are luck. Burn trees with hellfire if you can't find them.

By going behind trees in Punz you can find some secret caves. I don't remember very well, but perhaps there are also some hidden luck potions here.

There are luck potions behind trees in both Snow and Fire worlds. There is also a cave behind a tree in Snow world that leads to an island which has one bottle of each potion. And there is one tree in Firewood that gives a luck potion when you put it out with water/scroll.

Your best strategy is to maintain all 6 stats in a balance, at least until you get them to level 15.

Also if you've entered the dragon realm from Port Town and kill it you get luck and honour potions in it's secret cave.

You can download the savegame editor, then raise your Luck to 12 or something, then lower other stats with a number equal to the one you highered luck with. That's "fair cheating", OK?

There are 3 luck potions behind the fireplace in the house in the secret(ish) area off to the left right at the start of the game before you save the girl (but that would mean starting the game again
