You fail at experimenting and looking around, rather, and keeping your temper.

I suggest you download the newer WinDinkEdit or WinDinkEdit Plus on this site (under 'Development' I think), they're some pretty good Dink editors too, and a bit easier to use as it uses more windows rather than hotkeys.

Okay, but as it goes for the more common approach of programs, it's easier to use for more people, at least. And I hated the hotkeys in DinkEdit.

Editing maps is still the same, as that was easy already. But changing the properties of an object has been organized under a few windows and options rather than keys 1-9 and shift+1-9.

I agree. That's a much better way of doing it. Hence my using it rather than Dinkedit and my giving WinDinkedit and WinDinkedit Plus good reviews.

True, but the speed at which a screen can be made decreases (my experience, not necessarily yours ) - you'll need to learn the keys but then moving the sprites and stamping tiles goes rather smoothly
