Skard is helping me kill enemies, bless her heart. But she keeps telling me we need to find a lone frog-bot to disable. And I keep bringing her to one. She just kills it. How do I assume the frog bot disguise?

In another saved game, she got killed and I gave her ashes to the Water spirit, who gave me a boat. I went down that road a while, but decided to continue an earlier save. Now I'm wondering if the boat is the right way in, or am I supposed to go in as a frog-bot?

You just have to talk to her on the screen with the frog. (I know it's not that obvious)

Well you don't want her to attack/kill the frog-bot, do you? You want her to disarm it... - so yeah, talk to her and she will do it.

I guess I didn't really have to go through this exercise. Oh well--I did get a bunch more goodies by going back to the destroyed land
