I'm building up money to buy a fire bow in Mirror mere right, then I start walking on water away from the bridge to duck island. i can't get on land, but i noticed a land just off the shore with some steps leading down off it, does anyone know how to get there. (Oh I've downloaded the patch, so I can't get any sort of screenie of it

That's a well known loose end. Aperently they built that island when they made the game but never put anything on it or made a way to get there.

I found that dink keeps on saying that's there's a passage behind a rock whenever I press space near it, he can move it as well, but nothing appears, is this another loose end?

Not exactly. You remember the rock blocking the cave near the very begining where the wizard sent you to kill a monster? Evidently Seth just used the same script for that pushable rock, forgeting that it meantioned a passage.
For a minor bug, that has confused a lot of people, myself included. It makes you think you're missing something, especially since the real goal in that town isn't the most obvious in the world.

Not exactly. You remember the rock blocking the cave near the very begining where the wizard sent you to kill a monster? Evidently Seth just used the same script for that pushable rock, forgeting that it meantioned a passage.
For a minor bug, that has confused a lot of people, myself included. It makes you think you're missing something, especially since the real goal in that town isn't the most obvious in the world.
