PQ: What's with the (lead, silver etc.)Stars?

I am off to find the whirlpool, when I recalled that certain pple had all sorts of stars (depending on the money value) to sell. Do I need some? I have gotten this far (no cheating) without them? >^..^<

Probably not, they were really powerful for one patch version but they're once again just you're basic throwing weapons now.

The Death Star is still as powerful as it was. With it you can defeat any enemy at the end - although the water/blood demons are still hard.
