PQ disabling frog help

ok...so skard and I are coming across the froggy thingys....but keep killing them. I've tried just using my fist, 3 swords& magic. If I need her help, Skard just kills them too....anyone care to give a hint???

I was having the same problem, but I figured it out. You just have to talk to Skard while on a screen with a frog.

Make sure there is only one frog (no other enemies) on the screen... or Skard won't attempt the disable.
