warp sounds tut.

can anyone tell me where i read about how to change teh sounds on a warp?? at the moment, all the warps in my dmod are sounding like creaky doors, and it's starting to p**s me off

If you want it to play a sound other than the default “door creaking open” sound, press SHIFT-7 and enter the sound number you want it to play. For example, you might want to add the footsteps on a stairway sound to a stairway warp. The sound is STAIRS.WAV. Look in START.C to see what number it is, or add it as a new number if it isn't there. Use SHIFT-F7 to attach this sound to the sprite. - D-Mod Editing FAQ v1.3

Or in WDE, change the 'Sound' number. Beware: if it isn't a warp, then it will just continually repeat that sound...

thanks!! ummm.. where was that?? I'd like to build up a small personal library of usefull dink tips/thingies...
