Hurricanes suck

But really, one goes by, you take down all the boards and life returns to normal and then all of a sudden a new one pops up in the gulf and the city goes into chaos...
Simple commodities go out of stock everywhere, buying toilet paper is a precious gift from god, bottled water is like seeing a dodo bird walking down the highway, and finding a friggin peice of plywood is...like me completeing a full thought.
In conclusion, hurricanes do in fact...suck.

I dont get em.
. Some years back we had "bad" winds, and slate blew off the roof... Woah, thats one to tell my grandkids while we sit around the fire, me telling tales of bravery from the old days.

We neither. That's because we're at the north pole.
Seriously, isn't it exciting? Especially the part where you have to use maple leaves as wc paper.

The worst storm that occurred here since I've moved was from a hurricane. That was last summer actually...there are still hurricane's this summer, but they've remained south so far.

In my village, a recent storm(I can't call it hurricane or tornado because in Romania aren't such things) just broke down a huge nut tree from my garden(and some other trees, of course, but that nut tree was really huge). The good part is that it didn't destroy anything from my propery. The bad part is that he almost broke the neighboor's roof.
Here in The Netherlands things are rather stable recently. I would just want to have it a few degrees hotter.
But looking at this thread makes me a lot less unhappy about that...

Did the tree have large nuts? Seeing as how the tree was so large; I would think a big tree would pretty awkward without big nuts. You can never have too enormous nuts...

Maybe there's just a different standard for what's a normal tree, what's a big tree and what's a huge tree.
(the same may apply for the nuts it contained)

I'll tell you a story from my country:
A guy was sitting under a nut tree, and near him was a pumpkin. He was wandering: Why so big pumpkins grows on such samll spindle, and so small nuts grows on such big tree? Then, a nut falled on his head. The guy said: Now I see why: if a pumpkin had been fallen on my head, I would be sleeping now.
My nut tree was really huge, but the nuts were normal.
