Beta Testers Needed
Dink.ini Rewrite 1.2 Beta 1 is ready for testing.
It has recieved extensive changes and improvements (about six times as many as 1.1) and IMHO has fixed the complaints mentioned in the reviews of 1.1, but I need someone to test it in order to verify the truth of this opinion.
If you want to test it (so that the problems of 1.1 do not reoccur) please reply and include your email address so that I can send it to you.
Extensive testing of weither or not all sprites work and weither or not all of the unused slots are correct is required. Also testing to see if any other bugs exist.
I also would like to know if the changes to the structuring of the Dink.ini file make things easier to find, along with weither or not the new Sprite Relocation files do the same.
Please can someone test it so that I can know for sure if these issues have been successfully resolved.
EDIT: The version number has changed to 2.0 Beta since there are so many changes.

How are we going to test it? if its easy can I do it, but if I have to look trough the whole document, then no way

I have made files called Sprite Relocation X-Y, where X and Y represent numbers between 1 and 99, category the load_sequence_now and load_sequence lines are in. Also the categories are now alphabetically listed, meaning that it is unlikely to need to scroll the entire thing. Also I have moved sprites to new categories, deleted old categories (moving their sprites to other categories) and moved sprites to other categories. I have done these three things so that they are easier to find. All in all I would propably say that the Dink.ini file (which should perhaps of been called Restructure?) has been restructured about as much as 1.0 was.
As for how you're going to test it, I have made a dmod that exists purely for testing purposes. It contains only a 5 by 5 map. No sprites or scripts (except Start.c and co) are in it.
I would like to ask you to test the above things and test if their are any scripting problems (although I doubt it since no numbers were altered). Also if you happen to notice any sprites that I missed, please tell me.
If you find any problems please give me full details so that I can look into them so that I can know how to fix them. I would also appreciate it if you also mention any ways to fix it that you know of). Do so by either posting it here, emailing me (my email is in the Readme file), or PMing me.
