You know what, screw it.If you don't know where you are then look around.Draw your own stupid map.Grrr.How many games have I made and I still can't get that stupid map button thingy to work?!
*ARGH* I just wasted another 2 hours of my life giving the map thing another try.Why oh why do I bother.I've barely even started my story and I'm worrying about details like that.

What exactly are you having difficulties with?
The map viewing when pressing the M key, I guess...
I tried modifying the letter that dinks aunt sent him that one time and I even included a s2-map script.Another time I tried to work with the mystery island one and even renamed my bmp to bigmap but still dink says he has no map.*sigh*
It seems like it should be simple and yet I seem to manage to muck it up.

Brr, how about taking a look at the script of the button that controls the map?
In there, you see that the availability of Dink's map depends on a variable and that almost certainly varies in your own D-Mod.. so you'd need to modify that script, place it in your Story directory and also create the map (as bitmap) of the world and place it in the Tiles directory.

The button6 script? I did make a bmp of the map I have so far and it is in my tiles folder.I guess I'll just have to muck around with it a bit more.
