"Once a Hero..."
Ok, I've dropped the new magic system I was going to employ. I don't think it is really necessary, and I think it would be too easy to abuse, gaining strong magic too early.
All the classes have been implemented now though, and I think they could work quite well. Currently there are nine different classes, though some may be cut/altered from the final version.
Currently working on the 2nd and 3rd big villages (with all manner of sub-quests in each), and trying to think how to implement seperate quests/items etc for different classes.
It's getting very complicated...

Not until 2006, unless I cut out a few more things I had planned. Which I may do.
This d-mod has sort of escalated out of control. What was meant yo be a Legend of Tenjin-esque d-mod with pretty scenery and a SabreTrout "feel" has turned into a monster with new stats, skills, classes...
Estimated release date would be July 2006, I guess.

My D-Mod looks so simple compared to this.. only a few puzzles, a storyline.. and such

I may end up toning mine down a LOT. I don't think I can handle making a d-mod as complex as this one was going to be!
SabreTrout.. of course you can
I mean all of your d-mods are at the
top of my list. You can do it. I wanna
see this mod. please dont quit. Your
the one who inspired me to start this
current d-mod im working on!

Well... shucks.
If I do tone it down, it will only be by getting rid of some classes. I don't think it's necessary or practical to have as many as I was planning. Will still have languages to be learnt, weapons proficiencies and more though!
Thanks for the confidence boost.

Heh, yeah, same here. The tentative title for my quest/epic is "scratcher will rate this 8.0," or SWRT8. The only new stuff it'll have are some spells and, well, quite a few monsters (which will be new in terms of abilities, not graphics.)
Ironically, I was very inspired by CC2... I liked all of the enemies in Jameil's dungeon

I am going mad at the classes. Its tooo much difficult to track the class in every script. I wish you good luck.
There probably isn't a need to track the class in every script. That would indeed be a LOT of hassle!
