Yesterday I bought a new amplifier. It's a Fender Blonde Hot Rod Deluxe. It's got 40 watts of tube (which is about 160 normal watts). It also has 3 channels and awesome reverb. Set me back 600 bucks, though. I'm gonna plug my fat-strat (stratocaster with a humbucker) into it when it gets here.

Bah. Anyone can buy an amp, but can you build one?

Not saying I can, but still, it would be cool.

I built one... Not a amp for a guitar more of a amp so that I could amp up my cd walkman so it could run my system in my car... This was back before I hit it rich in the antique coin business... Now I am riding in style

I just want to know how you ramp the voltage up, with a DC input. AC, it's easy to jump the Volts, but DC gives me a freaking headache.

ha you got ripped off. i got a marshall tube amp friggin 150 watts for 150 bucks. all you have to do is find someone who is a drug addict with no money and guitar equipment.
