The Dink Network

When i run DinkFrontEnd and try to run a dmod i get the error message "Cannot find the dink smallwood EXE file. please make sure dink smallwood is setup correctly." i have reinstalled ds 3 times now, and it still give me the error message. i dont think its even a dmod issue cause i cant even run the origonal game. Anyone know what im doing wrong?

Try to run the original game once, just to the point of the save machine, and then try your d-mods. Should work then.

Um,is your dink front end program in the same folder as all the other dink stuff?

Yes, after the 3rd re-install i didnt even change the default directory name...

Have you installed the version 1.07 patch? You could always try that, and redownloading Dink. Try some of this network's mirrors.

A while (like a week ago), I tried to put Dink on my laptop through a disc by burning the Dink folder and I got the same problem. What mirror did you use to download?

Thank you very much. im not sureif it was the update patch or the new dink download from a different mirror, but i got it working now. thanks to everyone that helped.
