I'm trying to play FB1, when I get to the "cave" with the blue warp points the game freezes...
any ideas?

Yeah, the blue warp points freeze the game when you touch them. My advice - don't touch them. I fixed them for my version of the game, and you don't get much of a reward for using them anyway.
