somthing funny with the dmods - urgent to Redink1
Yesterday I changed my windows to win xp instead of win 98, from that moment I can't play any dmods. I downloaded again the Dfarc, and the initiation dmod. I almost finished it while had it on win 98. But now while open the game, the name changed to: milder part two. Also after the introduction a little after he decided to change his name, the graphic looks like a beta file (squares instead of the ground) also it stuck. If you want I can email you the file from my computer for you to check it out. Or is anybody can help, as I like this quest a lot.

As long as I know you have to update your original Dink Smallwood version to run it properly with WindowsXP. Maybe you just check out the Official Files section for that add-on.

Well, that's odd. I'm not sure what would cause that to happen.
So does the title screen say Milder Part Two? Or is it listed in the frontend like that?
What file would you be e-mailing me? The save game should be fine...
Also, are you running this on the same Windows 98 computer? Or is this on a completely different computer? Try this:
1) Re-install Dink.
2) Once it installs, run the original game. Exit.
3) Re-install DFarc.
4) Re-install Initiation.
5) Try to start Initiation from the frontend.
If that doesn't work, please let me know.

How about the patch? That's supposed to help with Win Xp, isn't it?
