I heard Dink music on the radio!
Hey all,
Not long ago I heard music that origined from Dink Smallwood on the radio. It's about 105.mid, was orchestrated, and sounded oh so great
(well 105.mid is my favorite, heh)
I guess the creator used midi music from all kinds of sources or maybe it's really a orchestrated version someone decided to make
Does anyone know what's the real title of this song and where I could get it?
Thnx in advance.

Ok i'm a little further now. This file luckily has some info about the author.
A guy named Claude Debussy wrote this piece, it's called Reviere.

I'll upload his piece once I find it.

Umm... Claude Debussy died in 1918. I think it's safe to say he didn't write Reverie for Dink Smallwood.

Ofcourse I know that. Do I look stupid?
But he left his music behind which i'm downloading right now. I almost have like 3 different versions of Reverie.
Once it's done you can all enjoy

I have heard chick.wav used by scooby doo. Those sound effects are probably from an old library of effects.
The bonca roar has turned up in a fire places too
You would roar too if someone put you in a fire place.

What the heck?? My brain must have short-circuited. I don't even know what word I meant to type at this point. What I meant of course was that I've heard it a couple times besides in Dink. Not for example that I hear that noise in my fireplace just randomly.
No really I don't...

As promised, here are the Reverie pieces that I found. There are 3 different versions:
Reverie - Orchestrated.mp3
Reverie - Piano Version (Slow).mp3
Reverie - Piano Version (Fast).mp3
They are all excellent pieces. If you love 105.mid from Dink Smallwood, then your going to love this one even more. You can download them here
I'll upload new pieces once I found them.
There's also doom_legacy.rar
It's all classic Doom games with co-op multiplayer and D3D acceleration
That's all. Enjoy!

I have played a LOT of games and I can say I have heard a LOT of the sound effects found in Dink in those other games. Some examples:
- The fist hit sound in Grandia 2
- The fireball sound in Star Ocean 3
- The woman's cry in Warcraft III
And even in some TV-series have I heard these sound effects. So, it's practically a given that these sounds come from a very old sound effect library.
Most of the midis are very recognizable. A lot of them are from classic music composers.

Yeah, true - I've also heard the Bonca-pain sound somewhere else, though I can't really remember where it was.
The pillbug squeel is in Castlevania. Just so you know.
