goblin portal - stuck

I've saved the water supply and done heaps of other little quests (cannibals etc) Fabian says I should go to the portal. I go there but what do I do now? I've gone there with Alessa and Dertin but it makes no difference. Am I missing something in the goblin village?
Hmm, looks like there's a gap in the advice thing here. If you've done the portal quest, then when in doubt return to the Sahib.
I couldn't enter the portal because there where endless goblins there. But I've solved that now. I ran around everywhere and somehow triggered the goblins to attack the town and then I could enter the portal. Now I've beaten Kurt and I'm looking for the dragon. Any ideas?
Hmm.. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that you ran into the Pencilhead Story bug caused by going through his dungeon twice or more - hopefully I've fixed that in the new version that's being sent off. As for the dragon... he's elsewhere in the cave. Just explore.
