A demo for y'all
As soon as I can fix some problems I've been having with graphics (namely compressing them from their current 24-bit glory), so hopefully today or tomorrow, I will upload a small (!) demo of what is intended to be an epic. Its about ants with a *bunch* of new graphics which will look ms-painty for what I like to call "mysterious reasons". Just a heads-up.
Speaking from observation, if you need to release a demo, then it won't be an epic.
Probably so.
On the one hand we have... PotA.
On the other hand... Back from the Grave. And some others whose names escape me. I think.

Ah, but those epics which released a demo version first have been exceptional d-mods.
And Back from the Grave is better than almost every epic anyway, even if it's not finished.

Yeah, that was a kick ass game. It'd be cool if some one would pick it up and finish it. Do you ever plan on coming back to it striker?
I don't think Striker has any intention of finishing it, which is a great pity.
That d-mod was put together in a much more elegant and impressive manner than FIAT, Stone of Balance, or even Pilgrims Quest. And that is no mean feat.
It has to be the joint greatest unfinished d-mod ever, along with the El Fantastico Crosslink.

Well, this is nothing on that level, sorry to disappoint you. I could never put out something on par with either of those demos...
Everyone has to start somewhere...I for one havent even made so much as a romp...that will change once I finish all the epic MOD's and then play Dink goes Boating.
Sincerely,
The Vault Dweller

I uploaded it last night... I think. On the plus side, it is (allegedly) bug free. On the minus side, its way too short to be a good introduction to the story.
Crosslink is not in the same *league* as Back from the Grave. I mean BftG features flying human heads... it doesn't get much better than that.
Edit: *Back* from the Grave...

Ah, but Crosslink has the most ingenious scripting ever seen in Dink.
Si I guess it's a tie.
