If Arik will rewrite it in the morning, why should you do it tonight?

Daniel, there are clowns.
Maybe because that's one of the reasons it keeps getting delayed?

Of course, I wasn't being serious. He doesn't rewrite the scripts, but he fixes all/most of the bugs they contain.

And there aren't that many anymore.

How many SabreTrout's does is take to screw in a lightbulb? Easy. The answer is 3. One to start doing it, another to argue, change his mind and start screwing in another lightbulb, and the third to actually finish the job whilst nobody is watching.

And a 5th to flame everybody who looks at him twice!

Anywho, the time is near and we need two more beta testers (Tal is the head honcho for the beta work, just so you know). If you are interested, just post here or send me a PM.

If nobody volunteers, I will be forced into press-ganging people into it, and that is NOT the sort of behaviour we want to see on the DN.

Is it?

The chosen Beta-testers won't get it until next tuesday, as we are frantically trying to fix up loads of stuff ourselves.

But you should enjoy it.

Hmm, since returning from holiday, very little has been done on the d-mod. Which is not good, see, as it NEEDS to be finished this summer.

When coupled with the facts that Tals Bug-list disappeared into the ether of the WWW, and illusive.. hasn't done one, things are not going great at all.

But not to worry! The Beta we sent out wasn't finished anyway, so work begins again on the 2nd (and proabably final) part of the Cloud Castle series. So it won't be much of a series at all... but y'all know what I'm saying.

So again, I implore you, now post all your "We want THIS" requests here, so they have a chance of making it into the d-mod. Otherwise they probably won't, unless I'm subconciously feeding off your brainwaves, which isn't too likely, you may agree.

But, anyway... POST, POST NOW!!

Or I accidentally deleted it. Not sure.

But anyway, if you could send it again, or a new one, that would be super-duper of you.

I want to see this Scarab you keep saying is coming. How would you be able to tell if he was coming anyways?

OK, it's getting close to being finished now. Not a releasable version, of course, but a Beta which has (pretty much) EVERYTHING done. You can play the whole way through the d-mod now, and it takes between 2 and 4 hours (depends if you know what you are doing, I guess).

We still have to implement the character sub-stories, the rest of the endings (only 1 done so far, and I think there will be about 7), a few more sub-quests... and that should be it.

Of course, there will need to be a lot of balancing done, as some dungeons are pretty easy, and some nigh on impossible.

There should be over 650 scripts by the time of release... and that's just WRONG for a Quest. Probably half the reason it's taken so long, with the other half being my incredible ability to start 3 new d-mods a day.
