I know it was a bad thing that the site crashed, but the good part of it was that I was able to read this:
"Could not connect to database. Why? I have no clue. Quite possibly the world as we know it has collapsed into a huge molton can of boron, never to fully exist again. Maybe the database server is under attack by hordes of evil zombies ruled by the giant Zombie Leader Guy. That ZLG, heh, he's a great guy, an excellent sense of humor. Now if he could just keep his zombies OFF the database server, the world would be a better place."

Destroying noobs since 1999.
Yeah, it was responding with Too Many Connections to the SQL server. Redink said it was a problemw ith the miasma code, but lets not go into too much detail as the poor noobs heads around here will explode...which might be a good thing.

Yeah. Basically what happened was Miasma (the underlying code that runs The Dink Network) couldn't connect to the MySQL database server, and proceeded to crash with an unhelpful message.

I added in that error message later, when I figured out why it was crashing.
