spyware and crap programs
does someone in the community know programs with spyware and other crap in it?
Me too, but do you know any programs that contains spyware?
Most peer-to-peer filesharing programs and download managers have spyware. Practically all unwanted pop-ups asking you if you'd like to install something lead you straight to spyware, as well.
It would probably be easier to tell you what doesn't have spyware.. GetRight is a good download manager without spyware, and WinMX does a decent job for p2p while including no spyware whatsoever.
But if there is one program you should definitely avoid at all costs, it's Kazaa...

Yeah, that program is evil, though there are ad/spyware-free versions.

DC++ is the best, though I hate the hubs which require ridiculous amounts of shared files.
kazaa lite works like a charm, best one i have ever used, even as good as oldschool napster. those were the days...
