The Dink Network

I get kicked back to windows immediately after the splash screen. The frontend is still on the taskbar, but when I click it the screen just flashes black and kicks me back to windows. I didn't try restarting.... that's just so, *yawn*, painful.

Sounds like something is wrong with the Dmod. which Dmod are you trying to run?

nah, it's the same with every dmod. Odd, for I didn't have this problem earlier today. And I haven't played Dink since.... (nor done anything strange to my computer )

Dunno if it works, but try playing the original Dink game, and immediately quit it. Though your problem doesn't sound like the dink folder can't be found... weird...
