everytime I'm in the catacombs under the church or under the small castle below the church, my computer crashes and I have to restart windows all over again. this is really frustrating! it doesn't happen always on the same screen, but it always happens. Any suggestions?

Daniel, there are clowns.
Arg, this sounds like another inexplicable single user d-mod crash... both pains for the author and the unfortunate victim. The only one who might be able to help you here is redink1...

Sorry I'm working on a new version, which should fix all crashing bugs. I'm still not sure what the problem is, but it will be fixed as I'll be doing things differently.

Mmmm, pizza.
I hope so, I had it crash there too, cheated my way around. Beware, it'll crash in the fire-dungeon again, and fully according to Murphy's Law: Just before the last pig!!

I had this problem too, and its identical to a problem many people had in the forest in POTA. It seems to be related to a midi driver (swmidi.sys) that comes with Windows XP. Replacing the MIDI that's playing at the time of the crash or playing without sound should fix it.. now I just need to figure out which MIDI was playing. :/

(Sorry for double post)
Incidentally, to pre-empt the comments, I realize this is necromancy to an extent, but I'm posting it for other peoples reference.. and to some extent as a cry for help since I'm having this crash too. ^^;

Quite understandable Most of the time, replying to a file-discussion forum topic (like this one) isn't necromancy for the reason you stated.
