Ok, I know I'll get slaughtered for this but what is Morrowwind? I mean what type of game and is there a lot of fighting, killing, etc., swords, ray-guns, futuristic, modern-day, medieval, quests, treasure hunting, puzzle solving, spaceships, aliens, monsters, etc, etc, What?? What's good about it and what's not?

Has anyone ever played Torment-Planescape? I liked it pretty well.

Morrowind is a beautiful 3d fantasy world with an extremely rich and developed background (just try and read all the books) that is quite unique as it strays a great deal from the overused DnD and Tolkien style fantasies. Unfortunately, it has been unjustly labeled a "dirty word" here, do mostly due to the antics of one Dethlord, who apparently wouldn't stop raving about it or something or another...

Wish I had the time to read cuz i adore reading. I lay down with my book in the evenings and next thing I know, it hits me in the face. Guess I'll wait for the movie. Right now, it's accounting classes and more work than my fried brain can handle. I pop in here for light relief and to see what's what. Where's Simon when I need him? Actually most everybody here has a good sense of humor. (But Simon is especially witty.) Welp, back to the grind.
Btw, what is "DnD"?

I just realized that what I said was not overly clear. The books are actually found in the game... there's got to be at least 5 hours of reading material in that game from the books alone.
