Confused about the DN caste system.
One of the thing I've notice about the dink network is the under your name is a star representing your caste level(ie. peasant, noble, ect.) I have also noticed that most everyone at the DN is a peasant, aside from the staff. My question is: Do you have to be a staff member to be promoted? If not how so?
I wouldn't call it your "caste", you are forbidden to communicate with others who aren't in your caste, but more like are you staff or aren't you.
Dink Network staff members have stars other than brown by their names. The only way you get a different color is by being on the staff.
I once suggested a revised version of the caste system. Redink was looking into it, but there are perl/cgi scripting issues. Patience all will be revealed it due time...
As everything. Wasn't it Napoleon who said that all problems will solve themselves - if only you wait long enough...

Thanks for the replies guys.
Btw:Napolean was afraid of cats. Also, they say he was short, but wasn't he of average height for the time period?
Another question:What exactly is a ghost?

A ghost is a user who either doesn't have an account or hasn't logged in.
I believe Napoleon was 4 feet 6 inches, and while that was a very common during medieval times, I'm not sure it was as common during the late 1700's early 1800's. He was probably short for the time period, but he wasn't considered a midget like nowadays.
