The Dink Network

Could someone please help me? I am having a very annoying problem. I downloaded the DMOD Dink's Doppleganger and went to play it and when it got to the title screen the mouse cursor was moving across the screen in a northeast direction and every time I try to move it, it will just keep drifting back NE. Also it is like the attack button is being pushed because it makes the sound and if I go to any of the options and get to the menu the highlight thing will keep moving to different choices. It acts as if the North and East arrow keys and the attack button are being held down and I know there is nothing wrong with the keyboard. Now this wouldn't be so bad if it was just on Dopplganger but it now does the same thing on any DMOD that I try to play now and on the original Dink game! Is there anyway to fix this? This happened once before to me and I had to completly remove Dink from my system and re-download it. Is there anyway that I can fix this weird glich without having to go through so much? I just want to play Dink again. Thanks in advance to anyone that helps me!

Do you happen to have a gamepad or joystick plugged in? Try unplugging it.

I hated having to unplug my controller, it made playing the game so much more comfortable.

Well, if the controller is calibrated correctly, you shouldn't have to unplug it.

Nope I don't have a gamepad or joystick, just a mouse and a keyboard that work perfectly fine in all other programs. Also why would this only happen after downloading Doppleganger? I think this is the same DMOD that caused this problem for me before, but I foolishly forgot and downloaded it again.

Well...did you try to reinstall it or something? Or maybe download the patch for Dink? Hope I helped!
