changed my mind
Most DMODs are zipped files. Most you need to create your own folder inside the Dink Smallwood folder to unzip them to. Some... have been zipped with that folder already created, so if you create a folder for the DMOD and unzipping creates another one... that usually creates the problem you're talking about.
ie
C:\Program Files\Dink Smallwood\yourDMODname
becomes
C:\Program Files\Dink Smallwood\yourDMODname\authorDMODname
Try moving everything (STORY, GRAPHICS, TILES, SOUND folders and other files such as dink.ini, map.dat, dink.dat, hard.dat) from the authorDMODname folder into the yourDMODname folder
ie
C:\Program Files\Dink Smallwood\yourDMODname
becomes
C:\Program Files\Dink Smallwood\yourDMODname\authorDMODname
Try moving everything (STORY, GRAPHICS, TILES, SOUND folders and other files such as dink.ini, map.dat, dink.dat, hard.dat) from the authorDMODname folder into the yourDMODname folder
