The Dink Network

I run the dmod in front end, but all I get is the loading graphic and then a black screen with "v 1.06" at the bottom. Any ideas what's the problem?

Well, Are you sure you extracted it to the right directory: You probably did this:

[Assuming C:\Program Files\Dink Smallwood\pilgrim]
c:\Program Files\Dink Smallwood\
pilgrim\pilgrim\[STUFF HERE]

So, try taking the contents of [STUFF HERE] and putting it into C:\Program Files\Dink Smallwood\
pilgrim\ and removing the second pilgrim directory.

If that's not the problem, then, uhh, I don't know.

If you're running on Windows XP, you need to download the version 1.07 path here. You should download it anyways, though.

I've got Windows XP and DS v 1.06 - so, uh, yeah. It's not always necessary.

PS - v1.06 worked on Windows 2000 also. Heh.

Oh. I guess that's good. I don't really know anything about that, it's just what I was told.

That's just something I said because someone said something about that somewhere.

That doesn't mean it actually is like that.
