Pokeymanz and Karting
I got Pokemon X and Mario Kart 7 for my 3DS today and am really enjoying them. Does anyone else have these games or enjoys their series?
I've only played a little bit of it but from what I've seen it's an excellent game. I like how it's realistic (you can even sit in chairs and stuff!) and makes me feel like I really am a Pokemon Trainer.

I own Y. As a whole, the game was fine. The story was pretty normal for a Pokemon game, though the little tweaks to the gameplay overall made it feel like a brand new game (the 8-directional and 360 degree movements in particular), so I really enjoyed playing it. My dislikes about the game are that I am strongly opposed to the idea of fairy types, hate them all, especially old Pokemon they made fairies. I didn't like the mega evolutions at first but I've come to terms with it. Also, there are few new/unique ideas of Pokemon out of the new ones they introduced. This has been a downward trend for the last 3 generations of games, but it's gotten really bad at this point. Few of the new Pokemon I can say I actually like. I also love the full 3D thing, it's so awesome.
I hate Mario Kart. It is the definition of extreme frustration. I have not beaten, nor will I ever beat my copy of Mario Kart 7, and I intend to never buy another Mario Kart game.

I own y. fun. bidoofs. hate that fairys can beat up on dragons: nothing should beat dragons (except maybe hobbits and level 90 rogues). it also feels slower then all previpus poke games I've played... (everything except black/white 1&2) but maybe that's coz I'm catchin' them all before moving on to the next area

I got X and I gotta say they've really taken Pokémon to the next level. Also, easier EV training at last! It takes about 10 minutes to max out a Pokémon!

I got pokemon Y too and well like it new pokemon is gameplay and well story was a bit of a downer but i LOVED customizable trainer idea and hope they expend on it

Did they just use letters because they were too lazy to think up an actual name? I don't know why it's called X and Y.
Those don't seem like colors. Pokemon games aren't real unless they have a color in their name. That's just how it works.

Then what about this - they're out of ideas and they believe that a 3D environment is super new and special.
(though Crystal, Gold, Silver, Ruby, Sapphire, Diamond, Pearl, Black, and White are not colours.)
But hey, maybe pasting my friend code would be funny because I beat the game on a digital version with a decent enough team, then got gifted the physical copy where I have a terrible team and have hardly played. Time to look for the 3DS some more. I'm sure someone would like to slaughter my pets.

Pokémon is real if Nintendo and/or Game Freak. X and Y are good games, maybe the story was a little far-fetched but hey.
Reviving this because I found it a while ago and I saw this post on my profile - 1590-6099-4682 - if you really want to. Although I'm not sure if any battles would be so much fun right now. I kind of did some transferring with Pokemon bank, some sd cards, and started a new game with my old team on standby which is on average around level 70 and I can't consistently control them yet.
Unless fighting a level 17 or something quilladin called Politics and a level 50 zoroark I can't use (which is the lowest of my normal team) is something you find fun.
Know what, a friendcode profile thingy would be neat.
