I want to know if people would play a dmod with mp3 file music (Original) or if nobody even bothers with aural+. Would making mp3 music (Still fitting in with midi sounds) be worth it?

Also, I can't seem to get my mp3s playing in aural+. I set the screen to play 1

I have a 1.mp3 in my sound folder, what am i doing wrong? am i just dumb?

I use it. It's the future of Dink sound...stuff.

No idea why the mp3 isn't working though. If you're using your Mac partition, that's probably why.

Are you trying to play the file directly through attaching it to a screen or are you using a playmidi(1.mp3); command?

Other than that, you'll need to keep in mind the copyright issues with mp3 files; It's unlikely you'll be able to upload the Dmod with the actual files included otherwise.

Besides that, I have Aural+ available in the event a Dmod has the option for alternative music format but I haven't tested it extensively.

So how is your Dink folder set up? Where is it located, where was it's original directory, where did you place Aural+, etc?

@ExDeathEvn, it would appear that he attached it to the screen.

Additionally, have you made sure your version of DFArc (which I assume you are using) has specified in the options menu that the "Game program name" is in fact "dink-aural+.exe"? If it's not displaying that as your Dink version when you start the Dmod up then that's one way to check.
I would suggest using DFArc 3 as well for it, can just patch over DFArc2 and everything else should be simple enough to set up.
